Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every purchase from Hobby Hound (the "Seller"). By checking the agreement box at checkout and completing payment you accept them in full. If you do not agree, do not complete a purchase.

1. What you are buying

• Every listing is for the exact physical card or item pictured. Photos are of the actual item you will receive.
• Cards described with a grade (for example PSA 9, BGS 9.5, CGC 8) were graded by the named third-party grading company. The Seller did not assign the grade and makes no promise beyond the grading company's assessment.
• Ungraded ("raw") cards are described in good faith. Condition terms like NM or LP are the Seller's honest opinion, and reasonable people can differ on raw condition. Review the photos before buying.

2. Collectibles, not investments

Trading cards are collectibles. Their market value can go up or down and the Seller makes no representation or guarantee about future value, gradeability, or resale price. Nothing on this site is financial or investment advice.

3. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe on its secure payment page. The Seller never sees or stores your card number.
• Applicable sales tax, where required, is added at checkout.
• Obvious pricing errors may be cancelled and fully refunded before shipment.

4. All sales final

Because collectible card values move with the market, all sales are final. There are no returns for change of mind, market movement, or raw condition opinions that reasonably match the photos and description. The only exception is an item that is materially not as described or arrives damaged, covered below.

5. Shipping and risk

• Orders ship within 2 business days with tracking, packed sleeved, protected, and boxed.
• The Seller is not responsible for carrier delays.
• If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact the Seller within 7 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date) with photos of the packaging and item. Approved claims are resolved by replacement where possible or refund.
• Provide an accurate shipping address at checkout. Packages returned or lost due to an incorrect address supplied by the buyer are reshipped at the buyer's cost.

6. Not as described

If an item you receive is materially different from its listing (wrong card, wrong grade label, undisclosed major damage), contact the Seller within 7 days of delivery. Approved claims receive a full refund upon return of the item in the same condition it was received, in the original slab or sleeve.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact the Seller first with any problem. Filing a payment dispute without first giving the Seller a reasonable chance to resolve the issue is a breach of these terms.

8. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian complete the purchase for you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller's total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. The Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any change in the market value of an item.

10. Trademarks

Player names, team names, game names, and set names appear only to describe the physical items for sale. Hobby Hound is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, player, grading company, or game publisher.

11. Contact and changes

Questions about an order? Reply to your Stripe receipt email and it will reach the Seller. These terms may be updated from time to time; the version shown here at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
